What can I give you? What will be enough? My heart, my bones, my flesh, my mind, my spirit? What can I give you? What will be enough? My knowledge, my skills, my curiosity, my ability to learn? What can I give you? What will be enough? My emotions, every one of them: fear, sadness, anger, grief, shame, calm, happiness, joy, hope, eagerness? What can I give you? What will be enough? The grass that grows, the leaves and trunks of trees, the sky, the sun that shines, the rain that falls, the mountains and plains and oceans and forests, the birds that sing? What can I give you? What will be enough? My life and death? All space and all time? What can I give you? What will be enough? This moment and the next and the next. Those are all I can give you. And that must be enough. That will be enough.
